Baker Accountancy Services is a well respected accountancy firm led by Emma Baker and is fully registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
Having gained over 10 years experience working for top tier practices within Central London, Emma decided to set up her own practice in 2011 to better support the needs of her clients and provide them with a personal service. Since then, the practice has gone from strength to strength with the addition and support of a fantastic team with a wide range of experience.
Our specialism is working with owner managed limited companies with a turnover up to £5 million as well as supporting smaller businesses and sole traders in order to meet all their accounting compliance and tax needs.
We offer a personal and professional service and are on hand to support our clients in whatever capacity they may require.

Owner of Baker Accountancy Services
Emma qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2004 and become a Fellow of the Institute in 2014. Having always worked in Practice, Emma has built up a wealth of experience advising businesses with a personal, professional approach.
In her spare time, Emma is a keen equestrian with her own horses and is a mum to two active boys!
Mike joined us in April 2021 as a Manager.
He has previously spent 13 years within Practice working through from trainee to Manager, before moving into industry to work for a Company with approx. £500m turnover as Financial Controller / Accountant. He spent 9 years with the Company before moving, again within industry, to work for the UK trading entity of a large Telecoms Company.
This means he also brings valuable insight into running large businesses and how finance functions run internally within companies of this size and stature.
Jules joined the team, in December 2021, in order to provide administrative support and assist with our business development.
Jules will also be working to ensure that we continue to offer our clients the high service standards we set.
Jules comes from a large corporate background having held several managerial positions at Virgin Trains for many years.
In her spare time, Jules enjoys walking her dog and playing Netball, along with spending time with her family.
CIMA ACMA CGMA
Inske started her accounting career as a data processor in industry. She gained experience in the Retail, Manufacturing and Service industries while studying part time for her qualification.
When an opportunity to work in practice presented itself, she enthusiastically applied her skills to smaller businesses, producing management accounts, year end accounts and basic business tax calculations.
The small business is still where Inske focuses most of her energy, with a particular passion for rural enterprises, sharing Emma's passion for horses.
Inske has been working with Emma since December 2016.
Nina is an experienced payroll manager who joined the team in September 2020.
Nina started her payroll career in 1996 after returning to the UK from abroad. She worked in practice for a firm of Chartered Accountants for a number of years and also spent 4 years at Camelot Group running the Payroll and Shared Services Department; fulfilling all their payroll obligations.
Outside of work Nina is very keen on foreign travel and languages. She is also a passionate gardener and enjoys walking and jogging.
