Based in South Buckinghamshire and within easy reach of Central London and the surrounding areas,
Baker Accountancy Services is a well respected accountancy firm led by Emma Baker and is fully registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
Having gained over 10 years experience working for top tier practices within Central London, Emma decided to set up her own practice in 2011 to better support the needs of her clients and provide them with a personal service. Since then, the practice has gone from strength to strength with the addition and support of a fantastic team with a wide range of experience.
Our specialism is working with owner managed limited companies to whom we can provide a full range of services as well as supporting smaller businesses and sole traders in order to meet all their accounting compliance and tax needs.
We offer a personal and professional service and are on hand to support our clients in whatever capacity they may require.

Emma Baker
Chartered Accountant BSc (Hons) BFP FCA
Emma qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2004 and become a Fellow of the Institute in 2014. Having always worked in Practice, Emma has built up a wealth of experience advising businesses with a personal, professional approach.
In her spare time, Emma is a keen equestrian with her own horses and is a mum to two active boys!
Mike Worley
FCCA
Manager
Mike joined us in April 2021 and has become a hugely valuable member of the team, taking a lead role on the services we provide to many of our clients, both on a day to day as well as annual basis.
Mike previously spent 13 years within Practice working through from trainee to Manager, before moving into industry to work for a Company with approx. £500m turnover as Financial Controller / Accountant. He spent 9 years with the Company before moving, again within industry, to work for the UK trading entity of a large Telecoms Company.
This means he also brings valuable insight into running large businesses and how finance functions run internally within companies of this size and stature.
Inske Allso

Management Accountant
Inske started her accounting career as a data processor in industry. She gained experience in the Retail, Manufacturing and Service industries while studying part time for her qualification.
When an opportunity to work in practice presented itself, she enthusiastically applied her skills to smaller businesses, producing management accounts, year end accounts and basic business tax calculations.
The small business is still where Inske focuses most of her energy, with a particular passion for rural enterprises, sharing Emma’s passion for horses.
Inske has been working with Emma since December 2016.
Emma Thayer
Accounts Supervisor
Emma joined us in October 2024 having already achieved her AAT Level 3 qualification in her previous employment.
Emma looks after the day to day financial management of several of our clients and enjoys on site visits to the client’s premises in order to enhance our connection with our clients through day to day collaboration.
In her spare time, Emma enjoys travelling and walking her dog Maisie!
Nick Scull

As a Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA), Nick supports the team, as a Contractor, with advising clients on complex tax scenarios that can crop up at different phases of a business life cycle.
His wealth of experience opens up opportunities for safe and innovative tax planning and we are delighted that he is able to offer us his expertise when required.
