Our specialism is working with owner managed limited companies to whom we can provide a full range of services as well as supporting smaller businesses and sole traders in order to meet all their accounting compliance and tax needs. We offer a personal and professional service and are on hand to support our clients in whatever capacity they may require.
Owner Managed Businesses
At the root of all we do, is usually an owner managed business. We really enjoying working with those that have taken the plunge and decided to follow their desire to set up and work for themselves.
We are ideally placed to support you through those early days of setting up and registering for all things taxing and then help you grow as you take on employees and build out the business.
We have helped support businesses grow from just the initial Director(s) to a full team and are able to provide all you need from managing your finance function to board level reporting.
Media and Creative
Emma’s specialism within this industry began in the early 2000’s during her time training with a mid-tier London practice as part of dedicated media team. This continued throughout her time working in London focusing on media clients again post qualification and gaining greater experience at a more senior level.
It’s an area of personal interest, with her father having worked within this sector for over 50 years and so we know and understand how fast paced this sector is and how important client relationships are.
Our current clients include several post-production facilities as well as individuals working within the industry as DITs or graphic designers. We also work with several dancers and other individual creatives.
Equestrian
As a horse owner for many decades, this an area where lifestyle and working life can combine. We understand the challenges that equestrians face and the terminology widely used so we can really speak and understand your business.
We work with livery yards, eventers running their own businesses, coaches and indeed manufacturers and sellers of products for the equestrian world. There are many nuances to the farming and equestrian world and we can provide you with practical support and knowledge of how to apply HMRC’s guidelines.
On a personal note, Inske is a qualified equine physiotherapist and horse owner and Emma is actively involved in her son’s eventing journey through British Eventing.
Charities & Community Organisations
Having gained valuable personal experience volunteering for several charities over a number of years, usually in the position of Treasurer, Emma has also held the position of a school Finance Governor for a local primary school. We therefore really understand the challenges that charities can face.
We work with a range of charities to include village halls, schools, local clubs and societies and churches, as well as a branch of the RDA which overlaps with our love of all things equestrian!
We can provide accounts preparation services and, as a Fellow of the ICAEW, complete Independent Reviews for charities up to £1m turnover. Or you may prefer for us to give day to day support with the financial management of the Charity and running of the payrolls. Whatever help you need, just ask!
